CSE: Community Supported Egg-riculture?

WHAT IS A CSA?

LocalHarvest.org has a great description of a CSA, or Community Supported Agriculture. It can be found in this link here.

Our program, a CSE, is different in that we specialize in eggs. Pastured chickens, eating a healthy, balanced diet with a nature-based preventive maintenance schedule in place for optimum health. We lovingly call it "Community Supported Egg-riculture."

We are offering a limited number of shares of eggs by the dozen INCLUDING DELIVERY**.

We are currently working with STARworks, bringing eggs to their Star location on a bi-monthly basis.

CSE egg prices: *$4.50/dozen
At the farmers' market: *$5/dozen

*Because we do purchase high quality feed for our beloved hens, we are at the mercy of the fluctuating market prices - because of this, our prices may vary.

**Delivery area in an approximate 20 mile radius from our farm, located in the heart of the micropolitan area of Pekin, NC.
