Farms = Food

Thankful Tuesday:
  Today, find a farmer and thank them for what they do.  Then, buy some goods from the farm.  Support your local farmer

How about this weather?

It's just over half-past February and it's possibly going to reach 71*F today!  It's great weather for seed starting, spring cleaning of the barn and the weekly replacement of hay in the egg boxes.  The buds on trees and the birds making nests are evermore signs that our beloved Spring is on the way.

Pretty soon we'll be seeing a lot of these!

And then, this!

The Farmer and the Farmer's Son are outside working on Farm-Stuff and the Farmer's Wife is about to make some egg deliveries.  Enjoy this beautiful day!

Welcome to the farm

Almost a year ago, these blossoms greeted us on our way to the barn, we're looking forward to them again, which will later in the year turn into a beautifully delicious cling stone peach.

It is our pleasure to have you here, and we hope you come back often. There is a lot to do on the farm in preparation of spring and while the blog posts may be sporadic, we'll do our best to keep you up to date on the "going's on" here at Hope Farms.

Currently we are offering eggs for sale @ $3.00 per dozen - stop by and grab a dozen or two. If you are wanting a larger quantity, give us a call to be sure we can accommodate your needs.
